Course Agenda
Week 1: Introduction to soft ground etching and plate preparation. Learn how to apply soft ground to a copper plate and prepare organic materials for creating an impression.
Week 2: Work with organic materials to create imagery on the prepared plate. Learn how to use the acid bath to etch the design into the copper plate.
Week 3: Prepare and print completed plates. Review basic printing techniques and processes.
